Photo of board member John ThompsonJohn Thompson - President is President and co-owner with his brother Matt Thompson of the business Deleon Thompson. Deleon Thompson is a wholesale distributor located in Moline Illinois, and supplies metal working products to manufacturing industries.

Gary joined the board in the fall of 2014.  Upon the sale of his auto parts business, he then work in auto sales.  He retired from Lundahl Volvo in 2002.  He is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Taylor Ridge.

Photo of board member Jeanette PeutzJeanette Nymon Peutz - Treasurer is a retired manufacturing engineer, having worked for Alcoa for 28 years in various locations. She serves on the board of directors for two non-profits, including as Treasurer for Christian Care. Jeanette is married to Rob Peutz, and is a member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Rapids City, IL.

Joan joined the board in the fall of 2014.  Joan retired from Deere & Company after 34 years.  The majority of those years included the assistant to the CFO.  She is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Taylor Ridge.

Photo of board member Dr. Chrissy EakerChrissy Eaker is the Credit Operations Manager, VP at Quad City Bank & Trust.  I have been with QCBT for over 5 years but in the Banking Industry for over 25. My husband, teacher in Geneseo, have 2 grown boys & a daughter in law.  I am a Big with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, teach Junior Achievement, enjoy bike riding and scrapbooking.

Photo of board member Ray LindRay Lind is a real estate agent with Ruhl &Ruhl. I belong to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rock Island. I'm the father of 2 sons and grandfather of 2 granddaughters.

Pam ToneTom Mielnik retired September 1, 2016 after 43 years as an electrical engineer at engineering consulting firms and an electric utility.  During his career, he prepared electric system plans, coordinated capital and operational budgets, served on numerous industry and professional committees and wrote technical papers.  He also served on the board of the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency for 11 years.  Since retiring he volunteers at Christian Care, mentors a teenage boy through Family Resources, volunteered at a food pantry and is active in community service as a member of Rotary.  He and his wife, Debbie, have lived in the Quad Cities area since 1986. They have three daughters, two son-in-laws, three granddaughters and one grandson.  He enjoys visiting family, attending services and activities at the Heritage Church, volunteering, attending U. of Iowa and local athletic events, reading and walking.

Dougal NelsonDougal Nelson
Dougal Nelson is the President & CEO of Junior Achievement of the Heartland. Alleviating generational poverty is important to him. Dougal believes that if people are given a sense of purpose and a belief in themselves, positive change can occur. On the weekends, you can find Dougal on the golf course. He and his wife Pam are lifelong Quad Citizens.

Pam TonePam Tone
Pam has been the office manager for Gilda's Club Quad Cities for 15 ½ years. Pam is married has two children and is the proud grandmother of four. Her joy is family and serving others in her community. She and her husband have served in many capacities with NW area Cursillo & TEC and MADD. She is a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church in Colona.

He has his Master's Degree in Financial Services from the American College in Bryn Maur, PA and his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Iowa. Bradley his married with two children and enjoys golf and roses. He is a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bettendorf, IA.
